Imaging Innovations April 2021

In April we will be begin imaging a large backlog of student grade reports for a prestigious university and we have also recently completed imaging photos, videos and vinyl records for their alumni association. We will also be setting up on site for a year at the Pennsylvania Historical Society to scan a rare and valuable collection. In May IDI will begin imaging over a million pages of University dissertations in the UK as well as a large Asian newspaper collection.

IDI’s microfilm sales from our Connecticut facility continue to grow. Microfilm provides a stable archive medium to back up digital conversions and serves as a tangible asset when purchasing digital collections. IDI has inked an additional two years of delivering Microfilm subscriptions for a well known publishing company which includes the London Times. John Grosso runs our Connecticut facility and recently was part of a informative Podcast discussing the important role microfilm plays in a digital world.
